Mr. Wilkinson

Hello! My name is Nathan Wilkinson.  I am the Band and Orchestra teacher here at Heath. This is my seventh year at Heath and I am loving it! I am a Colorado Native with no plans of leaving. I love Heath middle school, and the fact that I get to share my passion of music with students!

I graduated from University of Northern Colorado where I received a Bachelor degree in Music Education and am currently working on a Masters Degree! As a musician, I am a percussionist. I perform regularly with the Fort Collins Wind Symphony, and occasionally perform with different groups around Colorado. Along with teaching at Heath, I am also currently the percussion instructor for Eaton High School and Greeley West High school marching bands.

The music program at Heath strives to push students to be their very best, and teach them that their input and hard work is a contribution to the whole group. We believe that students need to have a well-rounded education, and music is an important piece.

I look forward to meeting you!

Ms. Yeldell

Welcome to Heath Middle School Choir and Music Appreciation!

Originally from Fort Collins, I received my Bachelor's of Music Education with an emphasis on Secondary Vocal Education from UNC. Having always loved performing, I spent a few summers performing opera in Germany before spending a year working in Vienna, Austria. I returned to the US to teach PK-12 music in Power, Montana, where I taught a whirlwind of general music, band, choir, pep band, drumline, and musical theatre! I am thrilled to have returned to Greeley and to have the opportunity to focus on vocal music education!

My involvement in numerous community musical activities has shown me how rewarding and life-long music can be. At Heath, every student is encouraged not only to participate in music, but to make great music and great friends along the way!
